In this fast paced world where we seldom get more than a few hours to dedicate to our art it can be difficult to find the time necessary to develop and stretch our skills. Textile Evolution’s multi-day class format allows the student to delve deeper into a subject. In addition to providing a great learning experience it gives more time for one-on-one work with the teacher and the opportunity to develop meaningful friendships. As an added bonus, most students will leave the retreat with a finished piece of art. Our one day classes are a great way to experience a different teacher as well as learn new techniques and styles.

We are excited to offer 8 very unique and exceptional classes. Each class is specially designed to add skills to your tool box, encourage artful play and help you to discover your own creative voice and spirit. Our teachers are not only the best at what they do but they are also focused helping you create your own original art work.

Classes are full-day, 7 hours of instruction and creation.
Classrooms are open in the early morning and evening until 11pm if you just can’t stop.

Liz is a fantastic teacher.  Her Stitch Journeys class was one of the most value classes I have ever taken.  You’ll actually learn how to use you Sewing Machine to tame all those different specialty threads that you bought when they called out to you but remain in the back of your thread drawer.  I’m not afraid of metallic thread anymore.  The retreat provides a wonderful, nurturing environment to help you explore new techniques surrounded by friends.
