I made my first studio prayer flag 10 years ago and every day as I enter my studio it continues to remind me of my intentions for my art and my life. Prayer flags can be reminders like mine or pure celebrations of joy.

This class is going to be a fast fun fabric collage evening. We will create a prayer flag string with fabric collage, paint, stamp, screen print and stitch that will delight you each time you see it and remind you of what is important. We will be sharing sewing machines or you can hand stitch.

Supply fee: $15 includes canvas base, some fabrics, use of my paint, stamps and screens for printing and fusible web,

Supplies to bring:
Fabrics: an assortment of fabrics in your favorite colors-any fabrics can be used. No more than a grocery bag full. You can bring some supple papers to use as well.
Threads: A small assortment of hand/embroidery and sewing machine threads. I will have some so if space is tight don’t bring any.
Needles and stuff: hand sewing needles, readers, thimble and additional lighting as needed.
